3 days old

Elijah had a very busy day today. He had his first well baby check today. He was weighed at the appointment and was 6 pounds 10 ounces. They told us that babies usually lose a little weight after they are born. He saw Dr. Meaney at todays appointment. We wanted to see Dr. Sonneborn, the delivering resident doctor, but weren't able to get a same day appointment with her. We were very happy with Dr. Meaney. Elijah is doing great. After his appointment, we stopped by TGI Fridays so he could meet Chris Duncan, the manager and a good friend. I worked at Fridays up until the week before Elijah was born. We had lunch there and then were off to TMC where Joel works to get some prescriptions filled. While we were there, Joel took him to meet the people he works with. After we left there, we went to Target. Joel's next rotation for Pharmacy school would be at Target so we stopped by so he could talk to the person in charge. We got a few things there that we needed and then finally headed home. Elijah and I were both really exhausted from our long day and ready to take a nap.
